Christmas

First Haircut :)

Carson got his first haircut tonight. I know he is only 3 months but being the way that I am.... it was driving me nuts. I am a sucker for clean cut boys... so he got a trim. He was so good, and Kimmy did a good job at taking the photos :)

Glasses

Kimmers got her new glasses today and looks super cute in them! Take a look :)

Carson is 3 months!

Happy 3 months little man! Its been a great 3 months! I cant believe how fast its going. I still sit and stare at him like he is a newborn and I love to cuddle with him and smell him :)

BBRRR!

Well today we took the kids to get their pictures taken. :) We decided to give them to the grandparents for Christmas. Cant post a picture yet as it is a surprise! ;)
They are too damn cute! We captured the personality of both of them without being fake and I love that!

Kev also took me to lunch today. It was nice to go out on a little date.

Then I worked on my Christmas gifts a little this afternoon while Carson took a good nap! :) Finished 2 of them! WOOO! I think Im starting to get excited for Christmas :) I love giving homemade gifts and I know the person receiving them loves them because they know how hard I work on them to make em' just a little bit more personal.

Its also starting to feel more like Christmas outside! HOlY wind today! BBBRRR!!!!

Kimberlynn

A little post about Kimmers. She has been fantastic in school! Her teachers email me often and let me know how she is doing. Her confidence is GROWING! Yay go Kimmy! IM so proud of her!

Saturday she helped me make christmas cookies at grandmas house. I would roll out the dough and she would cut them out. Then we would frost them, and she would sprinkle. She is very careful and detail oriented in everything she does.

Then I took her and her brother to the mall and we had a mommy, daughter date. We wandered and looked at all the christmas stuff. And she told me everything she wants for christmas.

Yesterday was a busy day for us. We went to church together, had lunch together, spent the afternoon at my friends making candy, and then she spent the night at my parents.

She is such a sweet kid and I love her more and more every day! Even when she is a pickle. :)

Monday...

Well its Monday. And to start the day off there was a 2 hr delay for school, and Kev is still at work til 11 this morning so I got to hang out with the little man this morning for a couple hours :) So we took a few pictures......







Saturday I did that cake I mentioned for a friend and she loved it! Its a barbell. Her husband is a body builder!




And last Kev took a few pics of the kids playing.

Homemade Soup!

Well today is Friday! And its been quite the day..... First I went to work all prepared to bust butt and get tons done..... and there goes my motivation, out the window with little wings on ...laughing at me as it flies away..... HAHA :( But between me, Nicole and Gina we get it done!

Then I went to my parents for the afternoon and decided to surprise them with dinner. I decided to make homemade soup. I have never made homemade soup before but...it..was...awesome! Homemade ham and bean soup! YUM! Im proud of myself!

Carson also had rice cereal for the first time tonight and he made the funniest faces! He was so cute! He hated it at first so we mixed in a few drops of fruit juice and then he couldnt get enough of it. Every time I moved the spoon to get more he would get all excited. And he actually held most of it down! For us... thats huge!!!!!!!

So its the end of the day and my kids are getting settled down. Im baking cake for a special friend of mine for tomorrow and Im looking forward to the rest of the weekend. Hopefully some rollerskating tomorrow with Kevin and the kids. And church and baking with Angie and her kids on Sunday. :) So until next time....

Winter Cakes and Banana Bread

Well today was a good day! I went to work and I love this time of year when it comes to Dairy Queen cakes. I love to make each and every cake pop out and catch the customers eye. Winter cakes are so fun to decorate! Little penguins, snowmen, Santa, snowflakes, and of course GLITTER! This is the time of year that I look forward to seeing the reactions from the people I work with and the customers :)













Kevin was off work last night and tonight, so I was spoiled and got to spend some time with him today. :) We had lunch together, and walked the mall, which is something we love to do together. We never buy anything, I think its more to people watch than anything. ;) Then we went to my parents for dinner, Spaghetti and Meatballs! One of my FAVORITE! Kimmys too, she ate 2 bowls by herself!

Then we did a little grocery shopping and now Im making homemade choc chip banana bread. Kimmy is in bed. Carson is refusing to sleep today, so he is laying on the floor squirming and waiting for me to pick him up, and Kev is watching a movie. I love family time and I cherish it cause it does not happen often. :)

Well back to the baby...... :)

Eye Exams

Well Kimmers and I had our eye exams on Monday…. new glasses for me and Kimmers got her first pair of eye glasses. She is a little nervous, but I know she will be cute! Glasses are on order. Will post pictures once they arrive!
